I am thrilled to share that starting October 2026, I will join Downing College at the University of Cambridge as a Mays Wild Research Fellow.
Becoming a full fellow at one of Cambridge's beautiful colleges is a big honour. This stipendiary fellowship will enable me to not only continue my work on the emerging field of iontronic neuromorphic computing, but also to expand into novel topics and engage in new academic collaborations.
This announcement comes near the end of my PhD research at Utrecht University in theoretical physics and mathematics. It has been a privilege to actively contribute to the emergence of the exciting field of iontronic neuromorphic computing, or in more human language, brain-inspired computing in a brain-inspired medium. This has led to numerous exciting results and several fruitful collaborations. I had the pleasure of sharing these findings with the scientific community at a diverse range of international conferences, and also with the wider public through various public engagement projects.
I look forward to the next chapter and the opportunities ahead.
